Steve Burns makes jewelry and sculpture in bronze, silver and gold. He draws from natural history, fantasy, myth and technology to synthesize a statement about the human condition and evolution.I’m fascinated with the conjunction of science and art. My work examines how pseudo science, hoax and myth change how we experience our planet. I ponder past and future extinctions while working with modern structures and ancient anatomies.
