Celebrate!

This October marked our 15-year anniversary, and as we reflect on all that has brought us here, we’re filled with gratitude for each of you, our artists and customers. The creativity of our artists, their presence, and ongoing contributions are truly the heart of Markings. Without you all, there is no “us.”

As the town lights up for Bright Night Bath, we thought it only fitting to pop a bottle of champagne and celebrate together. We would love for you to join us on Friday, December 5th to take a pause and cheers to the power of art. We'll be celebrating from 4-8pm that evening.

As part of our offerings that evening, Nancy Marstaller will be hosting an interactive experience titled Pressing Winter Magic.

Markings Gallery, located in Bath, Maine, is a vibrant art space that showcases a diverse range of artwork by talented artists from Maine. Opened in 2010, the gallery features an eclectic mix of art forms including metal, clay, fiber, paper, glass, paint, stone, and wood. With a focus on contemporary Maine artists and artisans, Markings Gallery offers a platform for both established and emerging talents to display their work. The gallery is run by a dedicated group of members who handle the day-to-day operations, and you will often have the opportunity to meet them while they work. Whether you are looking for individual pieces or themed group shows, Markings Gallery is sure to delight art enthusiasts with its ever-changing collection.
