Stephanie Crossman uses traditional knotted netting for her 3 dimensional sculptures. Netting is an ancient skill that she has taken to a contemporary end. Her husband’s 92 year old great-grandmother taught her the technique using the same knot & tools as the fishermen. Stephanie uses these techniques to create sculptures on a much smaller scale. Her designs are original & handmade. The tiny nets are shaped and stiffened into 3-dimensional art forms.
