ANGE BONHEN MOHORAKEYE

I learned how to weave from my grandmother when I was a little girl. The basket is a symbol of peace and beauty in my country. I continue to weave baskets to make known the good tradition of weaving done by Rwandan women here in the USA, and sell them through out the country. The proceeds from the sale go to the single mothers and their children back home to support them in this harsh time caused by the covid-19 pandemic that has extremely affected them. They are all made with love, skills and kindness.
